I would like to try some new rules.
20 minute blinds
$10 buyin for 1000 chips
$10 unlimted rebuys when you have less then 1000 in chips during first 3 levels
$10 Add-on after first hour of 2000 chips
I have a new tournament clock that will keep track of the players, blinds, breaks, rebuys, add-ons and winnings.

The $10 add-on of 2000 isn't a good idea because it would cause everyone to add-on especially if the chip leader chooses that options. If a few people add-on that it changes the game dynamics.
The dynamics should only really be down by game play.
Re-buys should have a higher limit, say %65 percent of the orginal buy-in. You really don't someone practically doubling up after he pays his first blind.
Re-buys should allow people at the bottom of the standings to stay in the game and stage a come back. Using it for anything takes away from the game.
I got the idea after talking to a few friends who play in casinos.
The idea of the add-in is that since it is such a good deal, everyone will particiate unless they have such a huge chip advantage that they do not need it.
The starting chips will be much less then we have been using and the blinds will be the same. This should hoepfully encourage more action in the first hour and get the pot to be built quicker.
I am open to changing the amount needed in order to rebuy. If we leave it as is, it effectively becomes a $30 game, instead of a $20. Lowering it to 50-65% would greatly reduce the number of rebuys.
